Sparta is one step closer to a more walkable, connected future. ASTA, in partnership with AppHealth and NC Cooperative Extension, has been awarded a $150,000 Design and Engineering Grant from the Great Trails State Coalition to begin planning the Sparta Greenway.
 

This exciting milestone brings us closer to creating safe, accessible pathways that connect our community to nature and to each other. To move forward, the project requires 50% matching funds, bringing the total goal to $225,000.
